Vince Micco & Iraq Vets for Congress Convene in DC: ‘Fearless, Tested and Ready to Lead’
Rutherford, NJ – Vince Micco, Republican candidate in the 9th Congressional District of New Jersey and US Army Veteran will participate in a press conference at the National Press Club in the Zenger Room, 529 14th Street NW Washington DC, on Monday, April 7, 2008, from Noon to 3:00 PM. Vince Micco will be joined by fellow Iraq Veterans for Congress Candidates from across the nation including: Matt Salisbury ~ Idaho District One; Duane Sand ~ North Dakota At-Large District, Tom Roughneen ~ New Jersey District 7; and Kieran Michael Lalor ~ New York District 19.
The Iraq Veterans for Congress is a loosely formed group of 16 US Military Veterans who have served on Active Duty in Iraq. Professor Ruth Wedgwood will serve as the briefing moderator. Professor Wedgwood is a Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and US member of the Human Rights Committee of the United Nations. Additionally, she is a Professor of International Law and Diplomacy and the Director of the International Law and Organizations Program at Johns Hopkins University SAIS.
